Trip to the coast

We packed up the extended Hulse clan and came out to the Sequim area for the weekend.  We had a delightful morning exploring the beach area along the Dungeness Spit Wildlife Refuge.  Emily slept in the backpack on Daddy while Timmy climbed over drift wood, scrambled over rocks, and ran wildly down wooded trails.

Truly Me, Photography--Miss Meagan

I had a positively delightful afternoon yesterday playing dress up with a smiley, giggly, soon-to-be-one-year-old darling named Meagan.  Mom wanted some pics that capture her sweet girlishness to show off at her birthday party this Saturday.  Here she is!

I had the most mind-bogglingly amazing afternoon photo shoot with Amanda Blanchard and her family at their home.  Sweet Sawyer Lee is due in two weeks and will be kiddo number six for Mandi.  She also recently became a grandmother, just in time for Valentine's Day, when miss Sophia was born 10 days ago.  To capture all of the exciting big events in this family, we did a maternity--newborn--family portrait session that I didn't ever want to end!  Thanks for all the fun!  Here's a highlight reel of some of my favorite shots from the day.

I had the most amazing honor and opportunity to do a newborn photo shoot for some friends of mine.  I've been flirting with the idea of starting a side-line business and it was a real treat to get to play at being a professional photographer for a day.  Of course, this little sweetie made every moment of aiming the camera at her utterly delightful, and her parents are a couple of gems, too!  I'd love your honest feedback on a few highlight pics from our session.
